Become a rover mechanic in this simulator

Rover Mechanic Simulator is a game from Pyramid Games that will have you work as a mechanic on one of the first Martian colonies. As the name suggests, this simulator will have you repair and maintain Mars rovers that collect information about Mars. You will have various tasks requested by colonists.

Compared to other mechanic simulators, there is no huge skill tree in Rover Mechanic Simulator. There is no garage expansion to think about, allowing you to focus on fixing up the rovers. However, like Robot Squad Simulator X, the controls can be frustrating as it often moves awkwardly.

What is Rover Mechanic Simulator?

Rover Mechanic Simulator offers a mechanic simulation game that allows players to focus on repairing different types of rovers for colonists. As mentioned, it comes with tasks where you will disassemble a rover to find broken or damaged parts. Then, you will repair and reset them before sending them back to the colony. The tasks requested are varied. Some of them can be demanding or amusing.

Since it involves a completely different vehicle, understanding the basics of the game can take time. Fortunately, there is a set of tutorial jobs to get you through the process. Moreover, the contents of your hangar can make your job easier. You even have a 3D printer that allows you to print even the most intricate part replacement. Although, this tool makes the work obsolete early in the game.

However, what makes the game frustrating is the controls. The cranes that pick up the rover occasionally shake or glitch. Even worse is the camera control that often pans up on its own and focuses too closely. The cursor control isn't any better as it moves very slowly, even if you turn the sensitivity all the way up. More than that, players will also find the gameplay too relaxing.

Is the game good?

If you are into mechanic simulators, then Rover Mechanic Simulator is a good shout. The game provides an entirely different experience compared to car mechanic games. It offers diverse jobs that you can complete leisurely. It also boasts an accurate design of the machines that you will repair. However, you will have to make do with its limited gameplay mechanics. Not to mention, it has awkward and frustrating controls.

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
